A word from our esteemed leader

​Hi, I'm Annabel Blaikie, principal here at Blaikie Recruitment.  I've been involved in the recruitment sector since way back in the early 1990s when I started Select Personnel in Dunedin.  After moving on from there and graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Otago University and raising my family, I've come full circle back to  recruitment.  I am passionate about helping people find temporary and permanent employment in a region that I love and adore: Central Otago.  I'm true a southern girl at heart having been brought up on the family farm in South Otago where my father taught me that if you are to succeed as a leader in life, you have to work harder, smarter, and longer than the rest of the team.  This ethic is reflected in our mantra "Clocking Off is Not Our Culture," and we mean it.  While our offices may not always be manned (now there's a term that needs fixing) my phone is on 24/7 to answer queries, sort out issues, or to simply providing guidance or a shoulder to lean on.
